Functionality
The MobileAccess Product Family supports multiple wireless data and voice services within a building or campus on a single broadband infrastructure. MobileAccess Networks provide high-quality, reliable wireless coverage for enterprises and Wireless Service Providers, supporting cellular voice, cellular data, two-way radio, Wi-Fi and paging in any environment including offices, public venues, hospitals and universities. MobileAccess delivers Converged Wireless Enterprise Networks where all indoor wireless services are supported on a single unified backbone. Services can be added with simple 'plug and play' module insertion.
MobileAccess products are designed to distribute RF signals inside buildings, basements, parking garages, hospitals, stadiums, airports and other structures.
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) vary in architecture based on the manufacturer. Typically, all DAS have the same basic elements but differ in the method of transporting the RF throughout the structure. MobileAccess uses hybrid fiber coax architecture.
