Mashreq is the oldest bank in the UAE with an extensive branch network across the Emirates. Mashreq is present in 11 countries outside the UAE with 21 overseas branches and offices spread across Europe, USA, Asia and Africa providing a comprehensive range of international financial services.

The Challenge

For the brand-new branch of Mashreq Bank in Dubai’s Academic City, the key task was to create a totally new and state-of-the-art Tier 2 Data Centre to host the bank’s critical infrastructure in compliance with all regulatory standards. The challenge was to execute the entire scope of work in six months, with a focus on ensuring the highest levels of data security and data management efficiency.

The Solution

Telematics, drawing on its expertise in the financial and banking sector, brought the full-suite of solutions for the data center including a CAT A6 IPatch solution from CommScope, in addition to the set-up of 150 racks as well as troughs for cable management. With a dedicated team assigned on-site, the project was delivered on-time and meeting customer expectations.
