Telematics handsover Qasr Al Sarab

November 1st 2009 – Qasr al Sarab opens its doors to guests

The Qasr Al Sarab five-star retreat built by Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the leading tourism asset developer in Abu Dhabi, is now open in the emirate’s Liwa area of the renowned Empty Quarter (Rub Al Khali).

Being managed by the award-winning Thai hospitality operator Anantara Resorts & Spas, Qasr Al Sarab is a showpiece in TDIC’s expanding development portfolio and a key element in widening Abu Dhabi’s business and leisure tourism offerings.

Qasr Al Sarab is a five star hotel with 140 Guest Rooms, 10 Royal Pavilion Villas, 42 Villas & a banqueting & meeting facilities for 150 people, a luxury health spa, conference centre, adjoining excursion and tented villages, and children’s playground.

The converged IP infrastructure connects 87 buildings covering over 2 million sq meters. In less than a year Telematics has installed and commissioned the ELV and Life/Safety systems comprising of Guest Room Management System, IPTV / HITV, SCS, DNS, Life & Safety, Voice, Data & Video, Converged IP Network, AV & CCTV.
